Interim cover as General Manager of the UK’s leading string orchestra

 

In addition to overseeing the group’s artistic planning and touring, my role had a significant operational focus, encompassing management of financial, personnel, company and governance matters, as well as deputising for the CEO.

Key projects in my time included:

  • Tours of two co-creations with Swedish company Andersson Dance: Goldberg Variations: ternary patterns for insomnia (UK, Netherlands), Impulse: Music in Motion (Scotland)

  • Collaborations with Jasdeep Singh Degun, Erland Cooper, and Edgar Meyer

  • Filming of music videos supporting Digital programme aims

  • Development of the ensemble’s Music for Wellbeing programme
